Junk Jewelry Tree

If you are like me, you often spend weekends trying to think of new ways you can spruce things up around the house.

With Christmas around the corner, I was surfing the internet hoping to find a cute Christmas craft. I had a plain, white canvas sitting around and saw this great idea. It's a Christmas tree design made out of broken, leftover junk jewelry. I had a bag full of this sitting around. I never wanted to throw it away because, well, some of it was still important to me even though I knew I wouldn't wear it again.

So, here's the pic of the tree that gave me the idea...pretty fancy, eh?

So, I got the idea to do this a little toned down. I spray painted the canvas a bright green color and began randomly sticking pieces of jewelry on with a hot glue gun. Though it's still in progress (and not quite as perfected as seen above), I am quite pleased with how my tree is turning out. Without further ado...
